Rise and Ride Program

How can it help?

The Rise and Ride Program is intended to aid individuals struggling with getting rides to medical and work-related appointments. You must be working or being hired, with an offer letter to qualify Rise n Ride program is a limited time to assist.

Driving

WHAT DO I NEED TO QUALIFY FOR THE PROGRAM?

•   18 years of age
•    Valid photo ID
•    Lackawanna County Resident

•    An applicant’s income must be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines

•    Verification that the applicant works a minimum of 21 hours/per week, or a formal offer letter                  from a future employer documenting the expected hourly wage. ​​

 

ASSISTANCE PROVIDED ON YOUR BEHALF

  • Rides to the Following

    • Work​

    • Medical Appointments

    • Work-Related Appointments

  • Available Services

    • ​Drivers are available Monday through Friday from 8:30-5:00pm

    • Bus passes are available for destinations on bus routes 

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO APPLY?

  • All requested documentation must be fully completed, with the necessary supporting documents attached, and submitted to: ldoran@acenepa.org

  • If an applicant is unable to provide documentation via email, paper packets may be submitted via USPS to:
