
Rise and Ride Program
How can it help?
The Rise and Ride Program is intended to aid individuals struggling with transportation to work and work-related appointments (pre-employment/interviews). You must be working or recently hired with an offer letter to qualify for the Rise and Ride Program. The Rise and Ride program is a limited time assistance program providing rides for up to a 2-month period.

WHAT DO I NEED TO QUALIFY FOR THE PROGRAM?

18 years of age

Valid photo ID

Lackawanna County Resident

An applicant’s income must be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines

Verification that the applicant works a minimum of 21 hours per week, or a formal offer letter from a future employer documenting the expected hourly wage.
PLEASE NOTE: Only completed applications will be reviewed. Please ensure that the application and supporting documentation is submitted in a complete and final format.

SERVICE AVAILABILITY: Drivers are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
BUS PASSES are available for destinations on bus routes.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO APPLY?
All requested documentation must be fully completed, with the necessary supporting documents attached.
